
Your Elopement at Compass Point, Heritage Park
Nestled along the cliffs of Dana Point, Compass Point at Heritage Park offers sweeping ocean views, lush greenery, and a peaceful coastal setting perfect for an intimate wedding ceremony.
Where To Meet:
This address will lead you to the house closest to the overlook where the ceremony will take place. Stay on Old Golden Lantern until the street ends on the backside of the house.
There is a handful of parking spaces on the left hand side. If the spaces are full, please park on El Camino Capistrano.
Be sure to account for traffic—give yourself plenty of time and plan your route in advance! We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes prior to your ceremony start time to find parking.

Your Ceremony Site:
Walk up to the stair entrance beneath the trees of "Doris Walker Overlook" aka Compass Point. There is also a ramp along the right hand side that leads up to the top if needed.

Allow for extra travel time. Traffic and unforeseen delays can happen, so it's wise to leave at least 15 minutes earlier than what GPS suggests. Planning ahead is key!

Don't forget your marriage license! Your officiant and witness will need to sign it to make your ceremony legal!

Be sure to prepare any processional walks or music if no music is booked through us. You may bring a speaker to have a guest connect to or book live music through us.

Travel light for the ceremony. Avoid carrying too many bags or items that might clutter your photos. If you need extra things, leave them in your car or hotel room during the ceremony.

In case of rain, find shelter under your car or plan an alternative day. Keep in touch with us for any necessary adjustments due to the weather.

If you're planning to wear high heels during the ceremony, don't forget to bring comfortable walking shoes. You'll appreciate having them, especially if you have to navigate uneven terrain.
