Set sail on an unforgettable elopement experience, where your ceremony takes place surrounded by open water, coastal views, and total privacy. Enjoy a relaxed and intimate sail as you exchange vows, with gentle ocean breezes, stunning scenery, and plenty of time to soak in the moment together.
Where To Meet:
This address will lead you directly to the office, Sail San Diego, where you will check in and receive your boarding pass.
Please arrive at the office 20-30 minutes prior to your sail departure to ensure waivers are signed for all guests and get checked in.
Be sure to account for traffic—give yourself plenty of time and plan your route in advance!
Where To Park:
Free parking and paid parking is available in various areas. Please allow 15-20 minutes to find a spot so you can check in on time.
If you choose one of these paid parking options, we recommend downloading the app Park Smarter. If your meter expires while your sail is underway, you’ll be able to add more time from your phone.
Tips

Allow for extra travel time. Traffic and unforeseen delays can happen, so it's wise to leave at least 15 minutes earlier than what GPS suggests. Planning ahead is key!

Don't forget your marriage license! Your officiant and witness will need to sign it to make your ceremony legal!

Travel light for the ceremony. Avoid carrying too many bags or items that might clutter your photos. If you need extra things, leave them in your car or hotel room during the ceremony.

If you're planning to wear high heels during the ceremony, don't forget to bring comfortable shoes as a back up. You'll appreciate having them, especially with the moments of a swaying boat in the water.
